The Rennessis premium dry carbon fibre cover is made from 100% pre-preg Carbon Fibre, manufactured using the latest autoclave technology, resulting in a final product that is superior in quality, strength, and appearance. The finished product is also infused in a clear gel coating for the added personality and customised look.
The name 'dry' carbon fibre comes from its manufacturing process. This type of carbon product is manufactured by using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. The carbon fibre piece is first placed in a mould and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to be properly cured. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter carbon version than the traditional “wet laid” method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon resulting a finer and better looking end product. Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced.
Installation couldn't be easier with the supplied 3M double sided adheive tapes. Clean the contact surface, apply the tapes, peel the backing off and install it in seconds!
