Developed and engineered with the OEM standard as the framework, this AutoTecknic dry carbon fiber fender trims is made with 100% dry carbon fiber composite material and fused with abs tabs that results in overall durable construction with strong tabs for a secure and seamless fit. As an AutoTecknic standard, each trim is individually finished with precision that yields a product of superior paint quality fit to accentuate any vehicle.
Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed by using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold, and then into a sealed autoclave to properly cure. This particular method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the “wet” method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means that there are fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets that form in the carbon. Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced.

Installation:
Remove original side vent cover and backing piece with a prying tool. Make sure you remove the backing piece completely so the new replacement vent can be installed correctly. Remove the original emblem by heating up with hair dryer and slowly lift it off with a stanley knife. Transfer the emblem onto new carbon vent. Position the new vent to ensure tabs are aligned correctly to the holes on the front wing. Push in gently but firmly to ensure correct fitment.
